1. Crane lubrication

Regarding the lubrication of cranes, let’s first understand the replacement of lubricating oil in the reduction gearbox. For cranes that are installed first, the lubricating oil in the reduction box should be replaced for the first time after 200 hours or 2 months of use. When changing the lubricating oil for the first time, the reducer should be flushed with lubricating oil, and the magnetic bolts should also be cleaned. After the first change of lubricating oil, under normal circumstances, the lubricating oil should be changed once a year. For larger reduction gearboxes, the lubricating oil replacement cycle can be appropriately extended based on the oil quality. When refueling, care should be taken to prevent dust from entering and ensure oil quality. The amount of refueling is not always better, it should be the right amount.
Regarding the lubrication of bearings, the bearing lubrication of cranes is mostly centralized lubrication. The bearing nozzles of hoist trolleys are concentrated on the end beam of the trolley; the grease nozzles of the wheel bearings of large wheels are concentrated on the end beams of the trolley. But there are also individual refueling nozzles distributed separately, so don’t miss any when refueling. Bearing lubrication intervals are the same as regular maintenance intervals. After adding oil, be sure to cover the sealing cap of the oil nozzle to prevent the oil nozzle from rusting.
2. Inspection of the entire vehicle and peripheral parts
For this part of the inspection, the first is to inspect the track of the cart: spot check whether the track bolts are tightened, visually inspect the straightness of the track, and also look at the wear and tear of the track to determine whether the wheels of the cart are chewing the rails. Next, check the slide wire: check the straightness of the slide wire and the tightening of the fixing bracket and bolts, as well as whether the slide wire interface is safe, and see if the power indicator light is working properly. Then check the main power cable: check whether the cable is fixed reliably and whether there is any damage. Then check the connection between the cart and the end beam: check whether the bolts are loose or broken. Next is the inspection of the trolley track, which is the same as the track inspection of the large trolley. There is also a check of the limit to see if the limit is easy to use.
3. Inspection of the trolley operating mechanism
General steps for inspecting the operating mechanism of a large truck:
Inspection of the fixation of the trolley's running mechanism: Check whether the fixing of the running mechanism is safe and reliable, whether the bolts are tight and whether the bolts are damaged.
Inspection of the reduction box: Check whether there is any oil leakage in the reduction box and whether it needs to be refueled. Also check whether the sound of the reduction box is normal when running.
Motor inspection: Check whether the wiring is loose and whether the junction box is loose. 4. Inspection of the brake: Check whether the brake can be opened normally, measure whether the brake gap is within the allowable range, check the wear and thickness of the friction plate, replace it immediately if necessary, and check whether the fixing bolts and adjusting nuts of the brake are loose.
